W dniu 3 marca 2014 r. Szkoła Podstawowa w Rakołupach otrzymała zestaw znaków drogowych tworzących mini miasteczko ruchu drogowego. Miasteczko zostało podarowane przez Wojewódzki Ośrodek Ruchu Drogowego w Chełmie.
